Recently, the Paris Judicial Court of France made a preliminary ruling in the trademark dispute between Lacoste and SHEIN. Pending the final judgment, SHEIN is prohibited from selling clothing, jewelry and fashion accessories with marks imitating Lacoste’s crocodile logo across the EU. SHEIN is required to pay a EUR 110,000 advance compensation to Lacoste, and publish the ruling prominently on its official website and mobile app for one month to avoid consumer confusion.
